In your first blog entry for English for Business & Science II, you're asked to speculate about one or more aspects of daily life that you think and/or hope will emerge, change substantially or disappear altogether – whether locally, regionally, nationally, internationally or beyond – within each of the following time periods:
i) 1-5 years from now, and
ii) 6-50 years from now.
Also explain on what basis your predictions are made. Posting deadline: Friday 4 March.

How to get started
Dear students,
This is just a quick entry to start the ball rolling. If you already have a blog account up and running from the previous level, please send its address as a comment on this blog entry and I'll link to it in the 'Blogging students' section on the right.
If you don’t have a blog account yet, I suggest you create one at http://www.blogger.com (especially if you already have a Google account) or ask your fellow students if they can recommend a particular blog host. Whatever your choice, please make sure that I can link to your blog and that your readers are allowed to post comments on your blog entries.
If you have / sign up for a Blogger account and don't want anybody except your teachers and class mates to be able to find and read your blog, i) log into your account, ii) select the blog you will use for this course, iii) click on the Design link, iv) open the Settings tab, v) scroll down the page to the questions 'Add your blog to our listings?' and 'Let search engines find your blog?' and, vi) switch the answer to 'No' for both.
